We are working with a national market leader in the delivery of security solutions.

The business is going to embark on a PE backed period of transformation and growth and we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller that will progress to Finance Director in the short-medium term, a promotion that will offer Equity.

The ideal candidate will oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with regulations, whilst also contributing to strategic financial planning, supporting the SLT and Investor for sound decision making.

This is a hands-on role in a small team that will grow; however, the emphasis on the short term will be taking responsibility for all accounting related activities, including the preparation of budgets, financial reporting and overseeing other essential processes including payroll.

You will be experienced with the collection, analysis and consolidation of financial data, supporting the oversight of the company's financial health by taking ownership of financial reporting.

Experience working in a PE backed business would be preferred but not essential.

• Manage day-to-day company accounts
• Assist with financial planning
• Audit oversight and liaison
• Monitor internal controls
• Oversee budget forecasting and cash flow management
• Ensure government compliance in all tasks
• Board Pack management
• Minimise financial risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years experience in the area
• Proficiency with Sage 200
• Professional Accountancy qualification
