Our client is one of the UK's leading environmental compliance and risk management consultancies. They specialise in providing solutions for organisations to ensure they remain compliant when managing environmental risks presented by hazards such as asbestos, fire, and water and are looking to add other areas.
They operate across 5 regions and have offices in London (Bishop Stortford), Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Scotland, and Cardiff.
The company is going through growth and is looking for an experienced Qualified Accountant to join them as a Finance and Commercial Director to work very closely with the owner as well as the Regional Director.
This is an exciting role that will bring together your finance expertise but also get you involved very commercially with the business.
This role will offer progression and the opportunity to become a stakeholder in the business.
You must be a Qualified Accountant with a commercial background and have previous experience in either the asbestos industry or similar, with a strong understanding of consultancy, projects, and Work in Progress. First-class communication skills are a must.
There will be an expectation to be in the offices 5 days a week, but after some time, there may be a bit of flexibility. However, the desire to be in and be part of the strong leadership team is essential.
