Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a dynamic organisation based in the Bristol area to recruit a Finance Director. This is an interesting and varied position offering the opportunity to work closely with the business supporting the organisation to meet its goals and long-term objectives.

The Role:
As Finance Director, you will be a key member of the leadership team and be responsible for the complete Finance function and provision of business parenting to aid decision support.

Your responsibilities as the Finance Director will include:

1. Lead the team in all aspects of finance, covering financial and management reporting, cash flow budgeting and forecasting.
2. Provision of insightful financial analysis and reporting to the leadership team.
3. Ensure strong financial controls and processes.
4. Manage relationships with key external partners and stakeholders.
5. Support commercial decision-making.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be a commercially and technically strong finance professional with excellent leadership skills. You will have a proven track record of working as a Finance Director and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

To be considered for the position of Finance Director, you will:

1. Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
2. Have extensive experience as a Finance Director or in a similar role.
3. Possess strong commercial acumen and a strategic approach.
4. Have experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
5. Own excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Have experience leading and developing finance teams.
