Job description
VANRATH are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer based in Co. Down, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join their finance team. This role involves managing payroll processes, financial administration, and supporting month-end close procedures for multiple group companies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
This is a Full Time Permanent position.

What you'll do:
The Finance Assistant will:
- Assist with weekly and monthly payroll, including ROI
- Assist with monthly pension schemes
- Manage payroll journal and payment processes
- Bank reconciliations
- Journal entries, accruals, prepayments, intercompany reconciliations
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage month-end
- Oversee financial administration
About you:
- At least 3 years payroll experience
- Previous Accounting experience
- Team player
- Ability to meet deadlines
