We’re a boutique product and innovation consultancy working with clients in pharmaceuticals, insurance, and tech across Europe and the US. We’re currently scaling and are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our financial operations.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financials across multiple legal entities (UK, Ireland, and US). You’ll work closely with our COO and external accountants to ensure smooth financial operations, accurate records, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, expenses, and receipts
• Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare and submit VAT returns (UK and IE)
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting/forecasting
• Support payroll processing (liaising with external providers)
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
• Work with our external accountants to support statutory filings
• Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance
• Suggest improvements to streamline finance operations
• Ad-hoc financial tasks as needed
• Ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed

About You

• 3+ years experience in a bookkeeping or finance admin role
• Based in Northern Ireland and able to work 1 day per week in our office (location flexible)
• Familiar with cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines
• Comfortable handling multi-currency and multi-entity accounts
• Discreet, trustworthy, and confidential
• Bonus: Experience with international clients or consultancy billing models
