Gaming Content Creator - Leading Consumer Tech Brand

Location: London (2x days work from home per week)

Step into a dynamic role at a prominent consumer technology company as a Gaming Content Creator, where you'll spearhead their gaming presence across social media. You'll be responsible for crafting and implementing innovative social media strategies, producing engaging gaming content, and cultivating a thriving gaming community. Your contributions will be pivotal in establishing the brand as a leader within the gaming sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute cutting-edge social media strategies to boost brand visibility and interaction within the gaming realm.
  • Generate captivating gaming content for key social platforms, upholding a consistent brand voice and identity.
  • Implement a testing and optimisation approach to enhance learning and effectiveness across the Marketing Communications team.
  • Work alongside broader Marketing Comms teams and partner agencies to integrate social platforms into campaigns, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Forge strong relationships with social platforms to ensure the company remains at the forefront of industry innovations and maximizes campaign impact.
  • Stay abreast of gaming industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies, and disseminate this knowledge throughout the company.
  • Develop and enforce content guidelines for platform channels, ensuring alignment with brand values and best practices.
  • Oversee a Community Manager responsible for campaign analysis and community engagement.

Skills & Experience:

  • A strong passion for gaming and a proven track record of creating relevant content.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to generate novel ideas, ideally with graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of streamers and gaming influencers.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing social content strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and commercial results.
  • Ability to balance creative impact with brand reputation to foster customer engagement and commercial growth.
  • In-depth understanding of key social media platforms, analytics tools, and advertising capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
