Aligra is an innovative, award-winning recruitment agency with branches throughout the UK. As part of our 2025 growth, we are expanding our team and we’re actively seeking a motivated, results-driven Recruiter to join us in our Hinckley branch.

The Role:

As a Recruiter in our Hinckley branch, you will play a critical role in identifying and connecting with top talent, understanding client needs, and ensuring successful temporary and permanent placements. This role demands a proactive and customer-focused individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will ensure an excellent service is provided to our clients and candidates along with building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement:

  • Build and nurture relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and organisational culture.
  • Attend regular client visits to discuss business opportunities and offer our service solution
  • Supply suitable candidates to cover all client requirements.
  • Identify and qualify new business leads via networking, sales calls, and new client visits

Candidate Discovery:

  • Using your local knowledge through various channels, including online databases, social media, and industry events, identify and attract potential candidates.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Recruitment Process:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance checks are thoroughly completed, including Right to Work documents.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Previous experience in recruitment or a similarly related sales environment.
  • Desirable – Previous experience recruiting for warehouse and driving roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and nurture relationships.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • A keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and market dynamics.
