Job description

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Lead Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Brentwood, Essex area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.


This is a modern and stylish, family-run home, built around an attractive courtyard garden. Just 20 miles from central London, it provides compassionate residential care, residential dementia care, nursing care, and dementia nursing care.


To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a current active NMC Pin.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work as part of a team to provide high-quality nursing care to residents.
  2. Carry out all relevant forms of care in conjunction with other nurse practitioners.
  3. Ensure that care services are consistently provided to a high-quality standard.
  4. Ensure the personal care needs of residents are met while respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence.
  5. Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care.
  6. Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company medication policy.
  7. Ensure that residents' care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives, and other health care professionals, and report any ill-health amongst residents, making requests for GP/professional visits where necessary.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Previous experience as a Clinical Lead within a care home environment is essential.
  2. A proven track record of leading a nursing team in the delivery of person-centred care, including planning, implementing, and evaluating.
  3. Experience of delivering quality clinical and person-first assessments.
  4. The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs in order to provide an excellent service of person-centred care.
  5. Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  6. Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.

The successful Clinical Lead will receive an excellent salary of up to GBP60,924 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role for 40 hours a week, working through days from 8am-5pm. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
