Our client, a well-respected Property Consultancy, are seeking a Graduate Surveyor to join them due to continued growth. The Graduate Surveyor will be working on a range of general practice and valuation works with a leaning towards the commercial side. The client offers excellent training and support and has a track record of helping people complete the APC process and become MRICS qualified.

Main purpose of the role.

In the Graduate Surveyor position you will assist in providing advice in a wide variety of commercial property matters including development, valuation, lease advisory and business rates work for new and established clients.

Skills and requirements.

• It is envisaged that the successful candidate will hold a degree in Real Estate or similar that is RICS accredited.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to communicate effectively at all levels both orally and in writing.
• Personable style with the necessary confidence and ambition to grow your career.
• Ability to proactively move towards achieving personal and business targets.
• Able to work in an organised and methodical manner, with a high level of attention to detail and strong report writing skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
• Ability to learn new skills and working methods and be adaptable to change.
• A proactive approach to work, with a strong team working ethos.
• Good working knowledge of IT.
• A clean driving licence is essential as the position will require some travelling.

Salary and benefits

• A salary of £23,000 in the first year rising to £27,000 in the third year depending on experience and qualifications.
