Overall Purpose of the Job:

Prominent Education is the sister brand of UKEC. Prominent Education seeks a dedicated Marketing Lead to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for our 11+, GCSE, and A-Level tutoring services within the local market.

This position involves the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans designed to enhance brand awareness, generate leads and support the achievement of organisational goals. The Marketing Lead will work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of marketing activities.

Ideal candidates will possess a proven track record in marketing, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to contributing to the success of our educational programs. The Key Tasks Include but Are not Limited to:

  1. Market Research & strategy development:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and client behaviours and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with team and organizational goals.
  • Create and execute marketing plans across various channels, including digital, print, and events.
  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns to reach specific audience segments.
  • Lead Generation, Brand Awareness and Budget Management:
    • Contribute to achieving overall team targets by generating high-quality leads.
    • Enhance brand awareness and build a strong brand reputation within the local market.
    • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and maximising ROI.
  • Team Development & Management:
    • Develop and manage the high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, training, and support.
    • Stay up-to-date with rapidly evolving marketing trends and technologies and maximise work efficiency.
    • Measure the effectiveness of the marketing team, and individual marketing members.
  • Sales Team Collaboration and Others:
    • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing and sales efforts.
    • Provide marketing support to the sales team, including lead generation and sales collateral.
    • Undertake/be responsible for any other related work/projects as required.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:

    • Proven track record in both online and offline marketing in education/related industry.
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role and 2 of which should be in a leading position.
    • Experience in marketing activities for enhancing brand loyalty and stickiness.
    • Proven track record in marketing targeting Asian clients in education/related industry is preferable.
    • Understand the tutoring trends in both the UK and China is preferable.
    • Experienced in fission marketing with a proven track record of success is preferable.
    • Experience working within start-up environments is preferable.
    • Ambitious and career driven. Highly motivated with the ability to drive success and achieve targets.
    • Excellent written & verbal communication in English and Mandarin.
    • The ability to manage an extensive workload with frequently conflicting priorities with good organisational skills and great attention to details.
    • Good people management skills including setting objectives and providing constructive feedback.
