Our Client, a well-established buyout fund, is looking for an Investment Associate to join a leading global investment firm specializing in climate and sustainability-focused initiatives. This role is based in London and will involve working with a highly skilled team committed to driving positive environmental and social impact through strategic investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in market research and analysis to identify high-potential investment opportunities in the sustainability and climate sectors.
• Support due diligence processes, financial modeling, and valuation assessments for prospective investments.
• Work closely with senior team members and portfolio companies to contribute to value creation and long-term strategic growth.
• Engage with stakeholders, including investors, industry experts, and policymakers, to stay ahead of emerging trends in climate-focused investing.
• Prepare investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership and decision-makers.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and financial targets.

Requirements:

• Fluency in German and English is essential.
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a related financial sector.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence.
• A keen interest in sustainability, climate finance, and impact investing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
