Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Wood Panels
Industry Sector: Panels, Building Products, Building Materials, Interiors, MDF, Chipboard, Flooring, KBB, Builders Merchants
Areas to be covered: North & Midlands
Remuneration: £48,000 - £60,000 + 10% bonus
Benefits: Fully expensed company car & full benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager - Wood Panels will involve:
- Field sales position selling a manufactured range of wood-based panels for the construction / interior sector
- All of your time will be spent selling through distributors, builder merchants and buying groups such as Jewson & Travis Perkins
- Project values can vary from £500-£25k+ depending on size and scope
- Will be required to present to customers
- Regular upkeep on CRM system
- Utilise Barbour ABI system
- Accounting existing accounts and generating new business
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Wood Panels with:
- Must have construction field sales experience
- Must have sold to builder merchants/distributors
- Must have stability in your career
- Open in terms of products sold, ideally interior or wood related
- Must be a critical thinker and analytical in your approach
- Must be IT literate and comfortable with CRM systems
