Area Sales Manager - Wood Panels

Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Wood Panels

Industry Sector: Panels, Building Products, Building Materials, Interiors, MDF, Chipboard, Flooring, KBB, Builders Merchants

Areas to be covered: North & Midlands

Remuneration: £48,000 - £60,000 + 10% bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed company car & full benefits

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Field sales position selling a manufactured range of wood-based panels for the construction/interior sector
  2. Sell through distributors, builder merchants, and buying groups such as Jewson & Travis Perkins
  3. Manage project values ranging from £500-£25k+ depending on size and scope
  4. Present to customers
  5. Maintain regular updates on CRM system
  6. Utilise Barbour ABI system
  7. Account existing accounts and generate new business
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  1. Construction field sales experience
  2. Experience selling to builder merchants/distributors
  3. Stability in career
  4. Open to various products sold, ideally interior or wood-related
  5. Critical thinker and analytical in approach
  6. IT literate and comfortable with CRM systems
