about the role

The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for accurately processing and completing payroll cycles for assigned locations on a monthly basis. They will need to work in a collaborative and supportive manner within the small EMEA Payroll Team as well as partnering with many cross-functional departments including Health & Wealth and P&C Partners.

day in the life

  • Process payroll for assigned European countries – currently UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, France, and the Netherlands.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records on Immedis payroll platform, ensuring all input is appropriately authorised with strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Follow up with Store Managers as necessary regarding incomplete and/or inaccurate paperwork/inputs.
  • Process statutory payments.
  • Work closely with the HR and Benefits team to ensure accurate pay processes.
  • Assist with employee payroll queries and other ad hoc projects when required.

qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience processing payroll is essential.
  • Spain and France payroll experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a retail environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using a Time & Attendance system is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Workday is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel to intermediate level including advanced spreadsheets, pivot tables & vlookups.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Analytically minded.
  • Able to work independently, manage time and prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
