Recruitment Consultant

Career Teachers, London

Hours: Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 17:00 (Term Time) and 08:00 - 12:00 or 12:00 - 16:00 (School Holidays)
Working pattern: Hybrid
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Uncapped Commission (DOE)

You will join a team of highly experienced and supportive consultants committed to delivering first-class recruitment services to schools and trusts across London (and surrounding areas). Key Role Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for education-based roles.
  2. Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  3. Proactively engage in business development activities to establish new partnerships with schools and educational institutions.
  4. Identify and attract high-quality candidates for education positions through various sourcing methods.
  5. Develop and maintain strong business relationships through both face-to-face and remote interactions.
  6. Demonstrate a high level of motivation and take ownership of your desk, treating it as your own mini business.
  7. Showcase your drive to succeed and build a thriving career within the education recruitment sector.

What you will need to succeed:

  1. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  2. Excellent organisational skills
  3. Experience of working to and achieving targets
  4. A minimum of 12 months experience in either a Recruitment OR Sales role.
  5. Excellent commercial acumen.
  6. Ability to manage and prioritise your workload.
  7. To be highly motivated to achieve your own personal and team goals.
  8. To be ambitious to work in the Recruitment industry and to be committed to developing yourself both professionally and personally.
  9. To conduct yourself professionally with both your internal colleagues and external customers.
  10. Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team.
  11. To attend industry related events such as careers fairs; university engagement meetings and industry events (where required).
