Registered Manager for Home Care ( Remote )

Contract: 1 Permanent Role & 1 Temporary Contract (Maternity Cover – [5 months])

About Us:

Leading provider of high-quality home care services. We are dedicated to supporting individuals to live independently in their own homes with dignity and respect. Due to expansion, we are seeking a committed and experienced Registered Manager to join our team. We have two opportunities available: one permanent position and one temporary contract (maternity cover).

The Role:

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional home care services in line with CQC regulations and company standards. You will lead, manage, and support our care teams while ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
  2. Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care service.
  3. Recruit, train, and supervise care staff, ensuring high performance.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and implement robust safeguarding measures.
  5. Work closely with service users, families, and external agencies to deliver person-centered care.
  6. Oversee rota management and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  7. Monitor and maintain care quality standards through audits and inspections.
  8. Manage budgets, business development, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Registered Manager experience in a domiciliary care setting
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations & compliance
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and inspire a team while maintaining high care standards
  • Enhanced DBS check required
