Your new company

A high-growth international designer is looking to recruit a new Head of Finance to support the Finance Director in developing the future growth of the business. The company works with some of the world's leading retailers, producing some of the finest stock the industry has to offer. With the business founded by an entrepreneur, this methodology and ethos has supported the business through a challenging market to become an industry leader in its own right.

Your new role

As the newly formed head of finance, you will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the group function that encompasses both commercial and traditional finance. This role has oversight and responsibility for the transactional team which you will use to complement the work you would be doing on the commercial side of finance to support board level decisions. You will have ownership of the commercial input from finance into board decisions and will be a key driver in supporting the growth of the business.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant with several years of experience within either a retail, manufacturing or a product-driven business. This is due to the very high volumes at which the business will transact. The ability to present to board and build relationships within the business across international borders will be key in succeeding in the role.
