9N Technologies is pioneering next-generation semiconductors, transistors, and capacitors for CPUs using cutting-edge graphene technology. Our mission is to revolutionise computing performance, efficiency, and sustainability by leveraging the unique properties of graphene in advanced electronics.
As CFO, you will be a key driver of 9N Technologies’ pre-seed/seed round fundraising, financial strategy, series A fundraising preparation/efforts, and investor relations, ensuring we secure the capital needed for rapid growth and commercialisation.
Compensation: Highly Competitive Salary once funding secured + Equity (upfront).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre-seed, seed, Series A, and future funding rounds from venture capital, private equity, strategic investors, and government grants.
- Develop and execute financing strategies, including equity, debt, convertible notes, grants, and strategic partnerships.
- Identify and engage with potential investors, industry partners, and financial institutions to secure funding for semiconductor R&D and manufacturing scale-up.
Investor Relations & Market Positioning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
- Create compelling pitch decks, financial models, and investment proposals tailored to deep-tech and semiconductor investors.
- Represent 9N Technologies at industry events, investor conferences, and strategic networking opportunities.
Financial Growth & Business Strategy
- Align financial planning with business expansion, including R&D, production scale-up, and global semiconductor partnerships.
- Evaluate potential M&A, joint ventures, and licensing deals to accelerate market entry.
- Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement sustainable revenue models for semiconductor applications.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure regulatory compliance for capital raising and investor reporting in the semiconductor and deep-tech industries.
- Mitigate financial risks related to funding, liquidity, and market fluctuations.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in capital raising, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity, ideally in deep tech, semiconductors, or advanced materials.
- A strong network of investors, family offices, VC firms, and funding institutions focused on deep tech and semiconductor innovation.
- Ability to craft and present compelling investment narratives for early-stage and growth-stage fundraising.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of structuring financial deals and securing large-scale funding.
- Passionate about graphene, semiconductor innovation, and the future of computing technology.
