An innovative company in the sustainable pet food sector is seeking a Growth Manager to drive online channel growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend analytical skills with creative thinking, focusing on formulating strategies that maximize customer lifetime value. You'll work closely with the founding team to implement growth initiatives across various platforms, including paid media and email marketing. Join a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on the pet food industry while enjoying a supportive work environment. If you're driven, curious, and ready to make a difference, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Hello, we are Grub Club, a sustainable pet food business on a mission to revolutionise the pet food industry. Traditional dog food is causing health issues for our dogs and, through its links to animal agriculture, is a significant contributor to climate change.
We launched our award-winning products in 2022 and primarily sell directly to customers, but you can also find us on Amazon and on the shelves of retailers like Pets at Home, Planet Organic, Daylesford Organic, and many other independent pet retailers across the UK.
In addition, our impact has earned us recognition across the media and trade. Most notably, we’ve been awarded £1m in media value with SKY TV as Grand Prix winners of the Sky Zero Footprint Fund 2023, which we’ll need your help getting the most out of!
We’ve grown rapidly since our launch in January 2022 and we’re looking to accelerate that growth further. We’re on the hunt for an ambitious Growth Manager who can help us do just that.
You’ll report into the Cofounders and be responsible for managing and growing our online channels. It’s a varied and rewarding role that ranges across core growth functions. Day-to-day, you could be working on anything from formulating a new ad creative strategy, landing page, or email campaign with our designer, running CRO tests on our website and Amazon, or testing new PPC campaigns to support our TV spend. You’ll be responsible for revenue, CPA, ROAS, and retention targets, and will be ready to focus your time and energy to drive impact and success.
We want someone who has a great blend of creative and analytical thinking - someone who can get into the data to understand a problem or find an opportunity, but can also put themselves in the customer’s shoes and get creative about solutions and messaging. Above all, we’re looking for a growth mindset, someone who is highly driven to succeed (with a track record of doing so), a curious and fast learner, and a leader who can break down obstacles and take the initiative.
In return we can offer a huge amount of personal and career growth. We’re a fast-growing business in a market with enormous opportunity (30m+ pets in the UK), so the right person can really make a difference, and a career for themselves. You’ll work with a small but fantastic team, who genuinely love their work and care about building a positive work environment, in a great London Bridge office alongside some of the UK’s best consumer brand start-ups.
WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE
Unfortunately, we can’t just hire dogs and cats but we want to build a team of doers and change-makers who embrace our differences, quirks, and flaws. We are an equal opportunity employer and actively encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We do not discriminate against any applicant based on age, disability, race, colour, ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
If you’re interested in the role or what we’re doing in general and feel like you’re the right dog for the pack, then please get in touch.
