Job Description
We are looking for a Commercial Administrator to provide administrative support to the commercial team, fulfilling customer requirements and completing documentation relating to the sale, promotion and development of Valeo Foods products.

The Commercial Administrator will co-ordinate and deliver a range of trade marketing services for the UK Sales team including product sampling, point-of-sale fulfilment and trade show administration. The role covers a range of commercial finance support duties, ensuring purchasing and invoicing accuracy and timely payments to customers.

  • Responding promptly and effectively to requests for administrative support from the sales team via email, telephone and in-person.
  • Liaising with teams across the business, to ensure that all product, marketing and financial information provided to customers is accurate and up-to-date when responding to requests for product information.
  • Administration of invoices, the use of Excel spreadsheets to track and report monthly sales performance and the analysis of financial data to verify invoiced charges and rebates before payment.
  • Improving the effectiveness of point-of-sale and promotional material through liaising with account managers, the Marketing department and managing UK point-of-sale storage and fulfilment to include maintaining and re-ordering stock when needed, purchase ordering and internal processing.
  • As an integral member of the sales team the post holder will support the delivery of relevant trade shows and events by managing the relationship with the logistics company with regards to the storage, set up and take down of the stand, and ensuring that the required stock and resources are delivered as required.
  • Administering the product sample process by handling and despatching samples on behalf of the UK Sales team and organising product storage and administering stock control.
  • Handling Trade enquiries through monitoring and responding to enquiries from the website and mailbox, being the central point of contact for potential new customers and point of sale requests.

  • Experience of working within a sales or administration function.
  • Able to effectively organise work and achieve deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word & Powerpoint.
  • Confident user of commercial software including sales databases and financial systems.
  • Evidence of strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and numeracy skills.
