Job Description

The Senior Logistics Manager will be responsible for all aspects of logistics operations from order tracking, 3PL relationship management through to delivery. You will work closely with Sales, Merchandising, Customer Service and Logistics regionally along with the global team. Based 2/3 days per week at our clients HQ in central London, key responsibilities will include:

  • Own the new logistics structure for EMEA by collaborating with the 3PL, HQ and global team.
  • Monitor operations and partner with the 3PL provider to drive continuous improvement and ensure successful logistics flow.
  • Adopting a strategic role overseeing the 3PL, freight providers and warehouse operations.
  • Controlling the budget for warehouse, freight and courier cost, balancing quality and competitive prices.
  • Conducting a smooth customs clearance/import/export of the product delivery, comprehend the latest trading laws and regulations and making necessary adjustments with the factory/freight forwarder.
  • Establishing KPI management and measurements for all service providers.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate logistics plans.
  • Instructing, coaching, developing and motivating the Logistics team.
  • Using data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Demonstrating flexibility in your approach and an ability to adjust plans as needed when considering changing circumstances.
  • Supporting with the development of personal skills and the realisation of goals of your direct reports.

The Successful Applicant

As the Senior Logistics Manager you will split your time between home working and our clients HQ in central London. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following experience:

  • Previous experience in a senior level logistics management role.
  • Fashion and eCommerce fulfilment experience is preferred.
  • International supply chain experience, to include the previous management of 3PL relationships across the EMEA region.
  • Knowledge of international trading laws, customs and regulations is required.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to be flexible (London 2/3 days per week) and a willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

  • An annual salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000, depending on experience.
