We are looking for a highly motivated ST3+ Trust Grade Doctor (SPR Level) to join the UCLH Rehabilitation Service. This role is based at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) in Queen Square and UCH on Euston Road, London, offering a unique opportunity to gain extensive experience in one of the UK’s largest rehabilitation services.
As a Rehabilitation Fellow, you will rotate through core and specialist rehabilitation roles, participate in governance and teaching programs, and work within a 24/7 multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will also collaborate with various teams across NHNN, this position provides excellent training in rehabilitation management across all stages of care, with abundant opportunities for service development and clinical research. You will receive the same level of educational supervision as other rehabilitation SpRs with NTNs and have the chance to observe and learn from a diverse range of specialist neurological clinics.
Patient Care:
Deliver comprehensive care at all stages of the Neurological Rehabilitation Unit (NRU), from pre-hospital to post-hospital. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiology, neurosurgery, and haematology, to provide integrated care.
Governance and Quality Improvement:
Participate in clinical governance activities such as audits, case reviews, and quality improvement projects to enhance rehabilitation care services.
Teaching and Education:
Engage in the teaching program, which includes grand rounds, bedside teaching, and tutorials.
Research and Development:
Support clinical research and contribute to service development initiatives to improve rehabilitation care delivery.
Collaboration with Neurology Services:
Collaborate with the neurology team at NHNN, gaining experience in specialist neurological clinics.
