My client is a leading manufacturer within the building products industry based in Yorkshire. They are about to embark on an exciting growth phase and are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Director to join them on that journey.

Job Description

1. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, redefining their contractor and trade business.
2. Develop and implement an effective marketing strategy in order to capture market share.
3. Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
4. Report on sales performance and market trends as part of the UK board.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
6. Drive sales performance through effective team management and motivation.
7. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Sales and Marketing Director should have:

1. A degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
2. Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the building products sector.
3. A track record of leading Specification and Trade sales teams.
4. Experience within branding and marketing strategies would be highly advantageous.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. Strong strategic planning and execution abilities.
7. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in using sales and marketing software and tools.
9. Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and growth.
