At Gradient Labs, we’re on a mission to make exceptional customer service the norm.

Founded in 2023 by a team of technical leaders from Monzo Bank, we’ve quickly gone from an idea to a growing team with customers you know (and probably love). Our AI agent helps businesses handle even the trickiest, high-stakes customer support queries safely and effectively, all while giving them the visibility and control they need to trust the outcomes.

We are a collaborative, ambitious, and fun team based in London, and we’re now looking for our founding Sales team member. We are open to the role to be based in London (UK) or New York (US), where we are building our first hub outside the UK.

If you’re excited about working directly with the CEO and co-founder (Dimitri) and the challenge of building a groundbreaking sales engine for an incredible, technically sophisticated B2B product, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Founding Account Executive, you will...
  • Drive revenue growth: Own the full sales cycle — from initial outreach to product demos to POC process to closing deals and negotiating commercials (with the help of our customer ops team)

  • Continue to build our pipeline: Generate and qualify new business leads, driving our outbound motion and representing us at events, webinars and conferences.

  • Build strong relationships: Build connections with early adopters and key decision-makers across multi stakeholder engagements

  • Collaborate across teams: Partner closely with our Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to make sure your customer insights are shaping our product roadmap and strategy.

We’re looking for someone who
  • Sales expertise: Brings a minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience working and closing deals at an early-stage B2B SaaS company (ideally 3-4 years as AE).

  • Entrepreneurial drive: Embodies a self-starter mentality with a passion for scaling startups.

  • Strategic thinker: Balances long-term relationship building with short-term revenue goals.

  • Tech-savvy: Is comfortable discussing technology solutions and quickly grasps technical concepts.

  • Collaborative: Enjoys working cross-functionally in a remote-first, dynamic team environment to achieve collective success.

What is the salary?

The final compensation will depend on the relevant skills, experience and geography of the candidate, but we aim to pay within the top 10% of comparable roles at similar stage startups.
