A trailblazing start-up in the AI space is looking for a UI/UX Designer to help scale their product. Having recently completed a successful fundraising round and on track to complete another and move onto their next stage of growth, they are now looking to bring a new designer into the team to improve their product further. They are open to experienced designers of any level of seniority from midweight to lead. If you’re a user-centred product designer with experience in start-ups, this is a great opportunity to help develop a really exciting product.

What you’ll be doing

Joining a small, close-knit team as the sole Product Designer, you will have significant influence over the design of a multifaceted product. Working closely with a distributed team made up of a product manager, developers, and marketing professionals, you’ll be building and iterating software that is pushing forward their industry. The ideal candidate thrives in finding simple solutions for complex problems, who can make navigating and understanding complicated data quick and easy for users.

You will be leading the design process, carrying out research and using user insights to build out journeys, build wireframes, and design visually appealing interfaces for the fledgling product. This role will require someone accustomed to a fast-paced startup environment – someone who can adapt to changing circumstances, timelines, and requirements.

What experience you’ll need to apply

• Strong UX process, from research through to information architecture and user flows, to wireframing, prototyping, and UI design.
• Excellent user interface design work, and evidence of creating visually appealing designs for complex products.
• Understanding of qualitative research methods, and evidence of using user insights to shape designs.
• Experience working in a start-up environment.
• Experience working on data-visualisation tools, SaaS products, or similar complex software.
