About Us:
We are recruiting for an independent co-educational ABA day provision for pupils between the ages of 4 and 16, providing education for pupils who have an autistic spectrum disorder and related conditions. We are currently recruiting a Band 5/6 Speech & Language Therapist to join a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
Role Overview:
As a Speech and Language Therapist in Hillingdon, you will provide specialist assessments, diagnosis, and therapy services for individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in supporting clients to improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and intervention planning
- Group and individual therapy as required
- Working within classes and providing consultative support as part of the multi-disciplinary team
- Development and implementation of training for staff and other professionals
- Report writing and record keeping
Requirements:
- Highly motivated, passionate, dynamic, and flexible
- Understands the value of using an ABA methodology
- Wants to grow with the school and become a fully immersed member of the team
- Has relevant experience of working with young people with special needs, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Has highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Is RCSLT and HCPC registered
- Hold a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
