Job description

As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising the accounts payable processes across our various locations. You will ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, maintain strong vendor relationships, and contribute to the efficient operation of our financial activities. This position requires candidates to have multisite experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process and manage invoices and payments for multiple location accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
2. Reconcile account statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal departments promptly.
3. Collaborate with site managers and team members to gather necessary documentation and information for accurate processing.
4. Assist in month-end closing activities, preparing accounts payable accruals, and supporting financial reporting.
5. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and address any issues related to outstanding balances.
6. Continuously analyse and recommend improvements to the accounts payable process to increase efficiency and accuracy.
7. Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate records and reports for auditing purposes.
8. Foster and maintain positive vendor relationships.
9. Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and assist with process improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
2. Excel proficiency.
3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with vendors and cross-functional teams.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multisite environment.
