What you’ll do:

In this important role within AlixPartners' Corporate Services team, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including the European offices. This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing and managing accounts payable transactions and ensuring that all supplier invoices are properly recorded, approved and paid on time. The Accounts Payable Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining positive relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to work accurately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Invoice processing: Receiving, reviewing and verifying supplier invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies. Review invoice details in the Concur invoicing and expense system, including relevant coding, account allocations and appropriate tax information.
  • Invoice Approval: Work with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoices and ensure company approval policy is followed.
  • Supplier Communications: Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices, payments and statements in a professional and timely manner.
  • Records: Maintain accounts payable files in electronic formats for audit and reference purposes.

Background and personal skills:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar finance function is an advantage.
  • Very high attention to detail with the ability to deliver high quality and accurate work results.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Reliable and able to work well both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment.
