Join our client's Leeds team as an Associate Structural Engineer, driving innovative structural projects and contributing to the growth of their regional capabilities. About the Role:
  1. Deliver and oversee structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
  2. Provide technical leadership, ensuring quality, compliance, and innovative design solutions.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  4. Lead business development efforts, preparing bids and securing new work.
  5. Develop and mentor the structural engineering team, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
  6. Work on diverse projects across sectors, including Education, Commercial, Residential, Airports, Defence, Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Rail.
What You'll Bring:
  1. Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer (CEng) with an established industry profile.
  2. Extensive experience in delivering complex structural projects, including low-carbon designs.
  3. Expertise in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber designs, and foundation systems.
  4. Strong knowledge of design codes, standards, and advanced 2D/3D software tools.
  5. Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and technical delivery on high-profile projects.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in client-facing roles.
  7. A passion for innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable engineering solutions.
  8. Demonstrated success in business development and winning consultancy work.
