Insight Investment is looking for an Investment Analyst to join the Investments Team in London. This is a highly quantitative and technical role that requires someone who is hands-on.

This role will be focused on analysing and recommending structured finance investments across the capital structure from Investment Grade debt to Unrated instruments.

Role Responsibilities

• Modelling and evaluating investment opportunities in bespoke transactions across a diverse opportunity set (CMBS, Speciality Finance, CLOs, RMBS, etc)
• Presenting findings to assist senior members of the team in making investment decisions
• Following markets daily
• Assisting senior members of the team with ad hoc tasks as required
• Liaise with internal stakeholders as required, including but not limited to: Compliance, Legal, Risk, Investment Committee

Experience Required

• 1-3 years experience working at an Analyst/ Associate level at an Asset Manager/Bank
• Highly quantitative and technical
• Strong interest in Financial Markets
• Strong investment analysis experience, with a background in the structured finance asset class preferred
• Experience incorporating ESG factors into investment process
• Familiar with Bloomberg / Intex
• Execution and detail oriented
• Able to work well independently, and take direction as required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Inquisitive and comfortable asking questions to achieve end results
