Life on the team

You’ll be working as part of an experienced team, focusing on the strategic development of our Homeland Security business. Including several large Police Forces and National Security bodies, you’ll be focused on continuing the strong growth trajectory of the team, maintaining and building new CIO level relationships and responsible for developing our go to market strategy.

What you’ll do

  1. Manage customer liaison to transact complex transformational service sales and complex solution sales to maximise profit.
  2. Responsible for sales campaigns, adherence to sales methodology and communication to all stakeholders to win the sale.
  3. Responsible for negotiations for long term contract sales.
  4. Engaging with appropriate resources and management to ensure solution meets customer needs.
  5. Proactively building customer contacts and rapport across several customers, levels and opportunities.
  6. Identify a broad range of opportunities and customers to develop sales campaigns.
  7. Developing strategy to maintain and increase market share.
  8. Inspiring sales team to drive and maximise profits.
  9. Identifying and opening opportunities across more complex and contracted professional service solutions to ensure a consistent pipeline.
  10. Leading and motivating sales team to develop, coach and performance manage the sales team to drive behaviour and performance.
  11. Acting in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and reporting any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation.

Performance Indicators

  1. Annuity Revenue Growth from aligned customers.
  2. Professional Services growth from aligned customers.
  3. Generation of new business opportunities in customer base and new customers.
  4. Lead, inspire and support campaign teams in large complex contractual services opportunities.
  5. Provide management, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and support to members of the sales force.

What you’ll need

  1. 10+ years relevant sales experience in an IT environment.
  2. Preferable experience in the Homeland Security/Police/Criminal Justice arena.
  3. Ability to build effective and constructive relationships up to board level within any organisation.
  4. Ability to build effective relationships with technology vendors.
  5. Leadership of virtual Team.
  6. Management of sales team and campaign.
  7. Ability to resolve significant customer issues whilst moving the business forward.
  8. Experience of business financials/services/solutions, the market/the needs/challenges of complex customers.
  9. Ability to lead formal negotiations to achieve successful outcomes for large value contractual sales.
  10. Ability to manage stakeholders in a highly political environment.
  11. Understanding and appreciation of competitors and their strategy.
  12. Engages with industry boards and experts to understand new trends.
  13. Experience of successfully selling within the Public Sector.
  14. Essential - The ability to be SC Cleared (if not already).
