Job Description

Due to Eurofins' expansion and growing portfolio of sustainability related services, we are recruiting to develop our team to manage sustainability regulations across a broad range of projects to a global stakeholder group. This role will be working primarily with regulatory services and additionally sustainability services, to support our global laboratory network and commercial teams.

The Role:

To manage sustainability regulations for Softlines and Hardlines division of Consumer Product Testing. Providing support to internal and external customers on all relevant global sustainability regulations.

Main duties:

  1. Regulatory Monitoring and maintenance of Global Regulatory Database:
    1. In close cooperation with other team members (Regulatory services and Sustainability Services)
    2. Compilation and classification of existing sustainability-related regulatory information and management of the regulatory database
    3. Monthly Regulatory global surveillance, input and update of database information obtained from global sources.
    4. Compilation of horizon scanning services.
  2. Market Access investigations:
    1. Help to increase and develop market access projects for our laboratory network.
    2. Investigation of new markets: market access research by country/region of sustainability-related legal requirements based on market demand and stakeholders' interests.
  3. Sustainability regulatory support: responding to global sustainability-related queries from Eurofins employees and from clients.
  4. Communication and training:
    1. Monthly updates communication: preparation of sustainability-related regulatory updates monthly newsletters
    2. Training to internal teams about relevant sustainability regulatory updates. External webinars support
    3. Support to marketing to review sustainability-related regulatory marketing materials.
    4. Maintaining and updating existing regulatory documentation related to sustainability projects.
  5. General support to the team as and when required.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  • Technical degree ideally in science related subject, sustainability or law
  • Able to demonstrate a solid experience in Sustainability/Consumer Products background.
  • Independent, proactive, eager to know and to expand knowledge in terms of sustainability regulatory awareness and access to new markets.
  • Highly organised and a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand and process requests from clients and stakeholders and work independently.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of databases including but not limited to Access and within MS Office.

This role is office based flexible - Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week. Core hours are 8.45 am to 5.00 pm. (opportunity to flex and work remotely for some of the time can be negotiated).
