Searcys are looking for a Sales and Events Executive to join the team at The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

As a Sales & Events Executive, you will be managing the sales and event bookings for the venue, working on reactive and proactive sales inquiries and planning a wide variety of events including intimate gatherings and weddings, allowing you to show exquisite detail, service excellence, and showstopping food.

The Royal College of Surgeons of England is an independent professional body and registered charity that promotes and advances standards of surgical care for patients and regulates surgery and dentistry in England and Wales.

Job Type: Full Time

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing the planning and execution of high-profile events. This role is perfect for a sales-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in event sales and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively generate and convert event sales leads, meeting revenue targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and private clients.
  3. Conduct venue show rounds, presentations, and sales pitches.
  4. Work closely with the operations and catering teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  5. Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
  6. Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  7. Represent the venue and Searcys at networking events and trade shows.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in event sales within a high-end venue, hotel, or catering company.
  2. A strong sales mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  4. A passion for delivering exceptional events and client experiences.
  5. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  6. Knowledge of London’s events and hospitality market is an advantage.
