Senior Business Analyst, Business Operations, Business Change, Business Outcomes, CBAP, Waterfall, Agile, Remote

Senior Business Analyst required to work for a Professional Services business based in Central London. However, this role will mainly be based from the comfort of your own home but there may be some travel. This will be to the likes of Central London every now and again, and Internationally from time to time. ALL travel will be completely expensed from the moment you leave your doorstep!

We need a good, seasoned Senior Business Analyst with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and proven Stakeholder Management skills. With regards to Stakeholder Management, we need someone who has worked in an environment where ‘time is precious’ and it is all about being effective in the time allocated when it comes to executing solutions. We also want a character with a great personality, with charisma but also with the hardened Business Stakeholder Management ‘battle scars’.

When articulating your business stakeholder management experiences, they want personalised examples rather than cliché ones. Ones that they would not necessarily have heard before and that are personal to you…but good, strong ones of course.

This is a brand new role in a fairly new function. If you are expecting a pristine, flawless structure, this is probably not the role for you. One week you might be executing something exciting for one of the Global counterparts, the next you could be doing some mundane (but necessary) internal compliance duties.

We want someone with the following (so please read in FULL before applying):

  1. Professional Services experience or knowledge (or a very close, like for like industry)
  2. Appreciation this is NOT an IT Business Analyst – it is a business facing one with a slant on technology – this is Operational Process driven
  3. Business related Stakeholder Management skills, not just technology ones
  4. Proven experience with Business Stakeholders / Fee Earners who are very ‘time precious’
  5. Understanding of Global firm-wide and programme complexity, including lots of Change Management – Global or International experience would be preferred
  6. Heavy experience in a regulated environment where Governance and Compliance are absolutely key to most things you would do
  7. Having PROVEN experience in a FULL project lifecycle – being there and seeing through a project from start to finish
  8. Analysing values and initiatives in order to apply the correct level of resource to each respective requirement / project – really understanding the value of change
  9. Ability to articulate the techniques you used and what YOU did – I was responsible for this…, I was responsible for that…, I influenced this…, I impacted the project in this way…LESS of WE
  10. Pure clarity on how to describe situations and outcomes
  11. Ability to map out plans, cost analysis, SWOT analysis etc
  12. Understanding of SDLC
