A rapidly growing home furnishings group, renowned for its stylish and high-quality textile products, is seeking a commercially driven and technically adept Digital Design & Development Manager. This role is perfect for someone who excels in digital textile printing, has a keen eye for commercially successful design, and is passionate about driving customer growth within the digital print and home décor markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the digital design and development processes for digitally printed textile furnishings, from conceptualisation to production.
2. Drive innovation and commercial growth through strategic design initiatives, identifying new market opportunities and customer segments.
3. Create commercially focused designs using proprietary CAD software including Adobe Suite, AVA software (or similar CAD/CAM), ensuring quality, efficiency, and scalability.
4. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to ensure alignment of designs with current market trends, customer expectations, and business objectives.
5. Engage proactively with clients and partners, offering exceptional technical support and service, understanding their requirements, and translating these into successful product solutions.
6. Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to position the brand at the forefront of digital textile innovation and industry trends.
7. Optimise and streamline design processes to enhance productivity, reduce time to market, and maintain high standards.
8. Oversee the visual presentation and communication of designs across digital and physical platforms, ensuring consistency and impact.

What We're Looking For:

1. Proven experience in a commercially driven digital design and development role, ideally within the home furnishings or digitally printed textiles sector.
2. Strong technical expertise in digital textile printing processes and extensive experience with CAD software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite and AVA (or equivalent).
3. Demonstrable success in driving revenue growth through innovative product development and market-focused design strategies.
4. An entrepreneurial mindset, with proven ability in identifying opportunities for commercial expansion and delivering profitable outcomes.
5. Excellent project management capabilities, adept at handling multiple priorities within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
6. Strong market awareness of home décor trends with the ability to translate insights into successful commercial designs.
7. Outstanding communication skills and customer-centric approach, able to build strong relationships internally and externally.
