Job description

About Us

Mable Therapy is changing the way children access speech, language, and mental health support. Since 2015, we’ve helped thousands of children and families across the UK by delivering high-quality therapy through our innovative online platform.

With over 70,000 children on waiting lists and 2 million struggling with communication skills, we’re committed to making specialist support more accessible. Last year alone, we delivered more than 22,500 therapy hours, helping children get the support they need when they need it.

The Role

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to grow Mable’s reach across schools and multi-academy trusts (MATs). You’ll take the lead in identifying and securing new business opportunities, helping decision-makers understand the value of Mable’s services.

This role is all about building relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and driving growth. You’ll work closely with the marketing team, ensuring that leads generated through campaigns, events, and referrals are nurtured into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, converting leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to align sales efforts with campaigns, thought leadership, and events.
  • Lead engaging product demonstrations and presentations for schools, MATs, and local authorities.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Use market insights and data to refine sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, tracking performance and ensuring a structured sales process.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in new business sales or business development (around 2 years or more, depending on experience).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with decision-makers.
  • A strategic thinker who can identify opportunities and develop creative solutions.
  • Experience using a CRM system and working in a structured, data-driven way.
  • Passion for helping children and schools access high-quality support.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of the UK education sector or experience working with schools and MATs.

This is more than a sales role; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference. Every partnership you build helps more children access the therapy they need.

Benefits
  • A flexible, remote-friendly work environment.
  • Salary between £35-45k + sales commission.
  • 32 days annual leave (24 plus 8 bank holidays).
  • Private Healthcare.
  • A commission structure that rewards sales success.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • The chance to be part of a fast-growing company making a real difference.

If you’re driven, great at building relationships, and passionate about helping children thrive, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now to join Mable Therapy and help us transform child therapy across the UK.
