Are you a DevOps Engineer looking to join a fantastic technology business in Greater Manchester?
I am looking for an enthusiastic individual who will push boundaries and implement effective solutions to enhance this organisation's application infrastructure, enabling the business to prosper and expand.
The position will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of their applications infrastructure to support the creation of custom applications. This includes, but is not limited to, build and deployment processes at both software and hardware levels, source control systems and processes, and provisioning and managing Azure resources.
What the client needs from you:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an agile development environment, using Kanban and/or Scrum boards, and tools like Azure DevOps or Atlassian’s Jira
- YAML
- GitHub Actions & Administration
- Git / GitHub
- Security Frameworks and principles i.e. OWASP
- Deployment Tools (i.e. Octopus Deploy)
- CI/CD – especially using GitHub actions
- Building cloud-first Azure environments which support containerisation
