An exciting new opportunity has arisen working as a Customer Service Supervisor at a company who is experiencing a period of growth. This role is office-based and would suit someone who is currently in a Customer Service role looking to move into management or someone in a supervisory role in a different environment such as retail but wanting to step into an office role!

JOB TITLE:

Customer Service Supervisor (Office Based)

LOCATION:

Exeter

HOURS:

Monday to Thursday 8.30 am-4.30 pm, on Fridays an early finish of 3.30 pm (36.5 hrs)

SALARY:

£25,500 - £27,200

BENEFITS:

THE COMPANY:

A well-established multi-site company specialising in the design and manufacture of corporate clothing.

THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for the Exeter site of this company. You will be joining a team that supports each other and laughs every day.

This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the customer service team and fully support and coach a small team of 4 dedicated Customer Service Administrators. You will provide an office-based link between the customer and the company in order to satisfy queries, record & resolve problems, and ensure a high standard of customer care in accordance with our customer commitment.

Daily duties will include:
  1. Overseeing a team of four Customer Service Administrators
  2. Coaching and mentoring the team and identifying any training needs
  3. Processing all documentation correctly and maintaining files and records according to procedures
  4. Expanding business/obtaining appointments from the customer base
  5. Actioning messages received
  6. Forwarding queries and keeping managers, supervisors, and colleagues informed as necessary
  7. Assisting with answering customer calls
  8. Organising the work schedule for the customer service team including lunch cover and holiday requests
  9. Responding to email inquiries and general administrative tasks as per the needs of the team
The successful candidate:
  1. Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  2. Strong customer service experience
  3. Computer skills and a willingness to learn
  4. A can-do attitude where no job is too big or small
  5. A positive disposition and someone who enjoys a fun dynamic environment
  6. Ideally some supervisory experience but not essential
