Job Title: Curriculum Lead

Location: Ryecroft School, Walsall, West Midlands WS2 7BH

Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per annum

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Curriculum Lead to join our close-knit team at Ryecroft School, part of Options Autism.

About The Role

You will be delivering inclusive, responsive and innovative teaching and learning within the curriculum area of GROW (Getting ready, reengaging, overcoming barriers, working towards qualifications) throughout the school. This pathway is part of our enrichment and pastoral curriculum where each pupil learns a wide range of life skills set out in their Ryecroft Passport journeys. You will constantly strive to produce outstanding/good teaching and learning at all times to ensure that all learners succeed.

You will oversee and support the English curriculum across the whole school as well as also having a tutor group responsibility, teaching some wellbeing, PSHE and Skills lessons with this group. Under the reasonable direction of the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will carry out the professional duties of a schoolteacher as set out in the current School policies.

You will teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation and policies of the school as a fully committed member of the teaching team and as detailed in the specific duties and core standards below.

About Us

Our New Options School - Ryecroft School has capacity for 60 pupils, opened in September 2024 and caters for pupils with Autism and complex needs. The school is located in Walsall, a market town in the West Midlands County. It is located 9 miles north-west of Birmingham, 7 miles east of Wolverhampton and 9 miles from Lichfield.
