Copywriter and Content Manager

30 Hours - Permanent

Stevenage - Hybrid (2 days from home)

£30,000 per annum

How you'll support our Purpose:

As the Copywriter, you’ll be delivering exceptional written content to support the SEO plan and wider marketing channel content across our white label partners. Inspiring and educating customers in short and long form to deliver our brand, customer, commercial goals. Keeping your finger on the pulse of latest trends and customer insight, provide recommendation to help us reach our objectives as a team and wider business.

You’ll be fundamental in ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our SEO and marketing copy, in line with our partnership needs and objectives. You will develop exceptional working relationships, creating a one team culture that helps us deliver activity which drives revenue and reach our KPIs.

What You'll Be Doing Day To Day

Copywriting

• Working closely with an external agency to develop our white label partner’s onsite SEO content and ensure we’re providing a valuable user experience.
• Generating informative, accessible and SEO-rich copy (such as FAQs, page copy and articles). This will often involve translating ‘industry-speak’ into language that’s engaging and easy to understand for the average consumer, while maintaining brand tone of voice.
• Producing other marketing copy in short or long form, working with the wider team to create engaging, high-performing communications. (email, social media, adverts, POS and other promotional material) as required for our white label partners.

Content Management and Digital Platforms

• Upload content to the website via the CMS. Test and check published content is accurate.

Ideation

• Working with our white label partner’s marketing team and third-party agencies to generate and execute campaign ideas. Sync with the eurochange marketing team to ensure no conflict.
• Researching industry and consumer trends across products, services, web searches, competitors and more.

PR outreach

• Providing support in securing media coverage, links, and building effective media relationships.
• Outreaching to publishers with existing links to update information.
• Support the development of awards submissions.

Legal and approval processes

• Manage the process for content approval through eurochange and our white label partner.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (FCA / ASA / GDPR).

The stand out qualities we're seeking

Proven Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of copywriting experience in a full-time Copywriting role, having experience taking on accountability for a successful content strategy.
• Working with a website CMS.
• Proven track record of managing joint marketing activity (ideally in a retail environment) ensuring delivery to time, budget, and specification.

Skills

• A self-starter, able to work autonomously and on your own initiative.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and third parties.
• High-level organizational skills, capable of prioritizing significant digital initiatives and functioning effectively under pressure.
• Excellent strategic problem solving and creative decision-making skills together with the ability to empower others to be proactive.
