Job description

Duties to include:

  1. The planning & organisation of works and materials during and prior to job commencement.
  2. Ensure all works are carried out under Health & Safety guidelines and to timescales.
  3. Monitor closely that all scaffolding is erected to TG20 safety standards through site visits, with any findings recorded through QSHE inspection reports and recordings.
  4. Designing safe systems of work (method statements) & undertaking risk assessments.
  5. Motivate, train & develop scaffolders & trainees.
  6. Carry out regular toolbox talks.
  7. Produce accurate payroll and job costing information in line with contract budget.
  8. Must be competent in understanding technical design works and the ability to work with Temporary works drawings.

The Candidate:

  1. Current valid UK driving licence.
  2. In-depth knowledge of the scaffold industry.
  3. Industry based qualifications SMSTS, SSSTS, or CISRS.
  4. Ability to manage and build strong working relationships.
  5. Ability to work across multiple projects.

This is a temp to perm role; once taken on, the candidate will receive full PAYE benefits inclusive of company van, mobile, laptop, pension contributions, etc.
