Contracts Manager
Home-based
Brighton, Crawly, Leatherhead areas
£42,000 - £45,000 plus car / allowance (£5k) & excellent benefits
The successful Contracts Manager will be home-based and will need to reside in one of the following postcode areas BN, RH, KT, SM.
Working as part of a strong team (both office & field based), dealing with property repairs (insurance reinstatement works) within a designated patch. Ideally, this would suit a Contracts Manager who is keen to expand their current skills and experience (residential repairs / extensions / renovations) into specialising within the insurance industry.
Insurance industry experience is not necessarily essential (although desirable) but you will need to be keen to learn the principles of insurance and have a background in dealing with residential property refurbishments/renovations.
There are genuine opportunities to progress into more senior roles and/or train within the subsidence specialty over time (additional training & support can also be provided in terms of qualifications & memberships).
You will need to be very IT confident & will ideally have experience in building a scope of works using a schedule of rates; if you have used a scoping tool/system this would be ideal.
Experience in contract managing property refurbishments / renovation projects is essential. Some insurance claim damage or subsidence experience/knowledge would be ideal as you will be dealing with the ‘post subsidence stabilisation’ reinstatement works (i.e. crack repairs/redecoration etc.).
In addition to the salary (negotiable around £42-45k depending upon experience), the company provides some excellent additional benefits (car / allowance), pension, death in service etc.
