About the Role

An opportunity has opened up for an experienced Content Designer to support a major transformation programme within a high-profile public sector organisation. This is a fully remote contract for an initial 6-month period, offering the chance to work on services that make a meaningful difference to people across the UK.

You’ll help shape digital experiences by creating clear, accessible content that meets user needs and aligns with established service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality, user-focused content for digital services.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including researchers, designers, and developers.
Apply insights from user research and data to inform content decisions.
Ensure content meets accessibility guidelines and follows approved style guides.
Support content strategy and contribute to iterative improvements.

Skills and Experience

Strong track record as a Content Designer within the public sector or service-focused environments.
Deep understanding of user-centred design principles.
Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) or equivalent content standards.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Agile working experience within cross-functional teams.
