About the Role

An opportunity has opened up for an experienced Content Designer to support a major transformation programme within a high-profile public sector organisation. This is a fully remote contract for an initial 6-month period, offering the chance to work on services that make a meaningful difference to people across the UK.

You’ll help shape digital experiences by creating clear, accessible content that meets user needs and aligns with established service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, user-focused content for digital services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including researchers, designers, and developers.
• Apply insights from user research and data to inform content decisions.
• Ensure content meets accessibility guidelines and follows approved style guides.
• Support content strategy and contribute to iterative improvements.

Skills and Experience

• Strong track record as a Content Designer within the public sector or service-focused environments.
• Deep understanding of user-centred design principles.
• Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) or equivalent content standards.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Agile working experience within cross-functional teams.
