Job description

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, hours are flexible to the needs of the service. On call 1 week in 10 weeks.

Reports To: Regional Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Multi-Site Care Manager to oversee two learning disabilities services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care, compliance with regulatory standards, and the effective management of staff and resources across both sites.

Both sites are for adults with learning disabilities, and you and the team will ensure that the residents are as independent as possible, from organising discos to days out at Brighton Pier.

You will be a bright, bubbly, and confident person who has a passion for the care sector and who leads from the front.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management:
    1. Provide strong leadership and direction to staff across both services.
    2. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between teams.
    3. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  2. Quality of Care:
    1. Oversee the delivery of person-centered care that meets the individual needs of service users.
    2. Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
    3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of care.
  3. Compliance and Regulation:
    1. Ensure both services comply with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
    2. Prepare for and manage inspections from regulatory bodies.
    3. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

To be successful within this role, you will have experience leading a team, be a care manager, service manager, or a deputy manager looking to step up. You will have your NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and will have the desire to complete your NVQ Level 5. You will be a driver and happy to commute in and around the Telford Area and into the community.

For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid a salary of £35,000 to £38,000, have 28 days plus bank holidays, have a life and medical insurance package, a pension plan, and discounts on dining out, cinema experiences, and cashback.
