Job description

Business Development Manager - Care Homes

This is a new business role to promote our existing eMAR software solution, HxCare to residential care homes throughout the UK. Working both directly with care homes and with our existing community pharmacy customer.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

HxCare allows care homes to replace antiquated paper Medication Administration Records (MAR charts) which are used daily to record details of when and how medicines are taken with much more efficient, accurate and auditable digital records on tablet devices. There are circa 18,000 care homes in the UK, with only a minority currently using eMAR, so the market opportunity is huge.

You will be expected to accurately forecast monthly sales revenue and meet required company sales targets. You will work closely with prospects to understand their business needs and model effective solutions around HxCare, delivering quotations and proposals that fulfill customer requirements and deliver value.

Consistently updating our CRM system with customer/prospect activity and information, you will feed back competitor and market knowledge to management and report in a timely and effective manner against your set business area objectives.

You will be responsible for all customers/prospects assigned to you, which will consist of small/medium/large care home groups, and be supported by our Marketing team to build effective and persuasive marketing campaigns and activities.
