Job description

It's an exciting time to be joining the cruise industry with our beautiful fleet back into service and sailing around the world with our guests. We are now strengthening our Marketing team in our Ipswich Head Offices with a Campaign Manager. Reporting into the Head of Brand Marketing, this exciting position will ensure that all campaigns, both strategic and tactical are planned and executed to the highest standard and achieve optimal results.

Main Tasks & Activities - Strategic Campaigns:

  • Work with our media agency to develop the annual plan for media activity against set budgets, in-line with key sales periods, targets and brand objectives.
  • Develop, implement and refine a process for producing impactful integrated campaigns. Including: data gathering, briefing, coordination of agencies and relevant managers in the wider-marketing team, organisation to get to ‘go live’, KPI setting, KPI measurement, campaign review.
  • Work with econometrics to understand how we can optimise our media spend, and process recommendations with agencies and team members.
  • Stay on top of media trends and innovations, using the understanding to enhance our brand reach, consideration and conversion.
  • Lead the team to monitor competitor activity, sharing with relevant colleagues.
  • Own and update the ‘year on a page’ view of all major marketing activity.

Main Tasks & Activities - Tactical Campaigns:

  • Lead the team to work with our media agency to plan, execute and optimise our ‘always on’ ATL activity – e.g. press
  • Seek, evaluate and onboard new media partners that align with our brand and commercial goals.
  • Coordinate tactical and reactive campaigns, ensuring an integrated approach and timely output across the team for maximum ROI.

We are keen to hear from individuals who are familiar with managing marketing budgets and understanding financial metrics related to campaign performance, with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proven experience working with media agencies to develop and execute marketing campaigns is essential for this position. It would be desirable to have Travel Industry experience, ideally within the Cruise sector however this is not essential.

This is a Full-Time position, working 35 hours a week, based at our Head Office (Fred Olsen House, 42 White House Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 5LL) offering a hybrid work pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
