Role - Bookkeeping (Part Time)

Location – Wirral

Salary - £25,000 - £33,000

Puro Associates are delighted to be supporting an Accountancy practice in Preston in their search for a part-time permanent Bookkeeper to join their friendly well-established team of accountancy professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Data entry of accounting information
• Reconciliation of key accounts (bank, debtors, creditors, VAT, PAYE)
• Investigation into discrepancies and finding solutions
• Preparation of Quarterly/Monthly VAT returns and submissions
• Meeting monthly VAT deadlines
• Reviewing VAT transactions for accuracy and completeness
• Keeping up to date with HMRC VAT and other relevant regulations along with new releases within cloud software
• Liaising with clients in a professional manner

Requirements:

• Hold around 3 or more years bookkeeping experience within a practice setting
• Demonstrate high levels of communication skills
• Have strong technical expertise in VAT
• Be capable of working independently, taking initiative, and quickly adapting to the role
