Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper (1-2 Days Per Week) – Financial Services / £18-23 per hour

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper looking for a flexible, remote role? Our client, a well-established financial services company, is seeking a proactive professional to support their team on a part-time basis (2 days per week).

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced skilled bookkeeper who thrives in a remote setting and can independently manage key financial processes such as VAT returns and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
  • Maintain and update financial records
  • Assist with general bookkeeping tasks as required
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working as a Bookkeeper in a corporate environment (5+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero or similar package)
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
