Our prestigious long-standing client, a UK-wide multidisciplinary consultancy renowned for its impressive and profitable growth trajectory, is looking for an Associate Structural Engineer in Manchester to work as a Regional Manager. The Associate Structural Engineer will be rewarded with an excellent package and a salary of up to £70,000. This position involves working client-facing and managing two Senior Engineers and a Structural Engineer primarily on a large framework contract as well as other works. The successful candidate will be a Chartered Structural Engineer, chartered either by ICE or IStructE, providing a perfect opportunity to show ambition, drive, and passion for customer service.

Regional Manager Job Overview

1. Manage the day-to-day running of the Regional Team, providing technical training and guidance, customer care principles, and market awareness to support the Technical Director.

3. Provide insightful monthly reports on workflow and team performance, contributing to the strategic management and growth of the region.

5. Partner with HR to recruit top talent, conduct appraisals, and address HR matters, playing a key role in building and maintaining a high-performing team.
6. Contribute to the company's marketing objectives by identifying opportunities, setting targets, and leading initiatives that enhance our market presence.

Regional Manager Job Requirements

1. MICE / MIStructE / FICE Qualified
2. Extensive working knowledge of consulting engineering, surveying, architectural, and planning practices
3. Experience in negotiation, supervisory, and leadership roles
4. Enthusiastic and committed to leading a team to achieve company objectives
5. Experience in working to deadlines and within budgets on large-scale projects
6. Located within a commutable distance to Manchester

Regional Manager Salary & Benefits

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000
25 days holiday increasing to a maximum of 30 days based upon time served, plus Public and Bank Holidays.
